The first stop on what I’m dubbing “The Making Lemonade Road Tour” was to see an old friend and her kids in Jersey Shore, PA. It was blue-ass cold, of course, as North Central Pennsylvania tends to be in early February. I’d intended to stay a week or so, but I’ve gotten so sensitive to the cold after 13 years in North Carolina that it was killing me. I’ve come a little south and east to Quakertown, PA to spend Superbowl Sunday with my best friends in Eastern Pennsylvania.
It’d been about five years since I’d seen my Jersey Shore friend, and we drove around and laughed like I hadn’t in some time, and talked about Schrödinger’s Cat while drunk at 3AM. It was a good first stop, though she didn’t get naked for pictures, sadly.
As I cruise around the country on The Making Lemonade Road Tour, I want to do as many shoots as I can as I go. If you’ve got a couch and some booze (and/or weed where it’s legal) and a willingness to get naked in front of my lens, do let me know and I’ll put a pin in my map.
