On my last weekend at the Rose Marie, there was a car show scheduled for Gillis Village. Sadly, it rained early on that day, and only a few cars came out. The weather broke later on, but it was too little, too late.
But a few cars did come out to strut their stuff, and Ol’ Yeller was my favorite.
Car photography is an interesting beast to me. In some general ways, it’s similar to boudoir photography. There are angles and poses that tend to flatter and angles and poses that don’t as much. But in some specific ways, it’s a very different animal. I find I like low angles for cars, from the diagonal, and usually with a tilted camera (sorry, Mikey!).
But I do love that Ol’ Yeller has her top unbuttoned for me. That certainly doesn’t change.
