After I delivered Phoebe’s photos and asked her for her favorites from which to choose one or two to post here, Phoebe asked to see a couple of hers in black and white. I was a bit hesitant, to be honest, about how I’d like them compared to the richly-colored shots of her in the mud beside the creek.
I’ve been a little more stingy with the black and white images since someone whose opinion matters deeply to me once suggested I put a lock on my monochrome button similar to a breathalyzer lock on an auto ignition. And the colors in Abram’s Creek… Well, they’re to die for, usually.
But Phoebe asked, so I converted a couple for her.
I think she made a good call.
