Green Lantern
My son’s idea of a Senior Portrait. I wouldn’t want him any other way.
I’ve done some revamping around the website. There’s a new theme and some new functionality that came along with it. It’s called Chocolate WP and it’s from themeforest. One of the really nice features on the back-end is that the portfolio is now completely separate from the blog posts. I feel like it gives me a little more freedom to post photos that I wouldn’t necessarily put in my portfolio.
On the other hand, I’m having difficulty getting the new homepage slider to work. (There are two versions that come with the theme, and I’m using the “old” one until I can figure out what’s wrong with the “new” one.) It’s been a bit frustrating, but I’ll figure it out in the next few days or simply ask for help from the support staff.
I’m still working on the site, there are a few more features I want to implement. Keep poking around, and see what’s new.
Sunspots
I had a great deal of fun shooting Shannon again, and her body art makes her one of my very favorite models.
Shannon and I met at my first Dr. Sketchy’s event back in January, and I got to see what life is like on the other side of the lens for a change. Shannon’s experience really came in handy when she was giving me advice on posing, but I have to say I much prefer being behind the camera when she is in front of it.
The second time we shot together, it poured the rain in buckets, and we wound up doing some really fun pin-ups inside. Shannon is an awesome pin-up model.
This, however, is the sort of thing I live to shoot.

A Little Time in the Forest
Another out-take from a project I’m working on that is just too pretty not to share.

Water Maiden
At first I thought this might be the shot that I would use in a project on which I’m working, but after careful consideration, I’ve chosen another from this shoot. Nevertheless, this shot is too pretty to keep to myself.
