Seduction Photography, by Louis Shackleton

Your Narrative, Photographed

I was just looking through a pile of draft posts in the queue, and discovered this one that should have posted but never did. I’m not sure why I didn’t put it up, I probably just forgot to hit “schedule” the night before, or something. This was from that crazy several weeks when Sex Geek Summer Camp fell in my lap, and then Woodhull was right behind it, and I could barely figure out where I’d left my butt the night before.

There’s only one day (August 5) during that time that’s missing a post, so I’m guessing that’s when it was meant to go up. Or something.

Anyway, Melony had been in the studio to help with some reflection experiments to work things out for Bria’s first maternity shoot, and while she was here we did another shot of The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, one where the front cover was visible. If you haven’t yet checked out The Book Club project I’m doing, you really should. And then you should grab a book and get over here!

To repeat the disclaimer, this is a project about re-discovery. It’s about remembering who I am, what I’m about, what I love and what I do not. Fair warning, this project will be posted here rather than at my SFW site because there will be nudity from time to time. Some of it will be of me, some not, some artistic and pretty to look at, some just raw.

I don’t intend to think of something every day and then shoot it, though I may do that sometimes, too. But sometimes I will just shoot, and then find something about myself in the frames and post about that thing, whatever it is.

All my #365SelfDiscovery posts will be filed here.
