I was tempted to title this post, “When You See It…”
Bella met me in the early afternoon along with another camper, and we did two shoots back-to-back. After both shoots were done, I asked if I could get a tightly-composed torso shot. I love the juxtaposition of her delicately-lined, permanent ink against her more passionately-placed, temporary art. The one is so carefully planned with deliberate forethought, the other so haphazardly landed in the heat of the moment.
When the other camper stepped into the frame behind her, I adjusted my position to put her fully behind Bella, but as you can see, I was so focused on my shot that I missed her stepping back into the frame.
These things happen. I can get some serious tunnel vision sometimes, and totally miss what’s going on in the background. In this case, I rather like the accidental result.
