Thank you, Philly. You were good to me when I needed you last week.
I’m just home from nearly a week in Philadelphia, and I’ve got a pile of work ahead of me. I had to fly this time, so I traveled light and left all the editing for after getting back. Regular posting should resume presently.
While I was in town I shot an event and a few boudoir sessions (photos forthcoming, eventually), and got to walk around the city some with my daughter. It was a tough visit though, as there was a mix-up with my pain-medication prescriptions and I had some problems (specifically, severe mood swings). We happened across this note whilst walking around the Society Hill section of the city, and I found it oddly warm and comforting.
Sometimes when I’m away from home, I like to walk around touristy places and take pictures of not-touristy things that catch my eye, and Philly was full of little love notes like this. Having been born and raised there, I’ve always sort of laughed at its “City of Brotherly Love” moniker.
I may have changed my mind about that.
