A few years ago, an old friend of mine came by for pictures before moving far away.
But before Fiera and I got to work, we went shopping. While we were out, we saw this great little pink lace dress with an asymmetrical hemline that I just adored, and best of all, it was on sale. I made the remark that the first thing I’d do with it would be to cut the liner out of it and use it for some boudoir stuff. Fiera loved the idea, but also loved the dress as it was, so she bought two, and gave me one. (I really do have some great friends.)
She and I didn’t shoot in it, and it was a few weeks before I got around to cutting out the liner. It’s been hanging in the wardrobe closet, and off the top of my head I can’t remember actually ever shooting anyone in it. So when Mica was rummaging around in the wardrobe closet and got excited when she saw it, her enthusiasm for the dress was immediately infectious. I think we’re all clear on how I feel about lace anyway, right?
While I love this shot of her on her back, it doesn’t really do justice to just how slinky and sexy the dress is. So just for you, dear reader who’s bothered to click to read more, here’s a bonus shot of Mica in the pink lace dress.
Good choice, Mica.
