Charlotte Brain Tumor Race

Over the years, NBTS has given more than $35 million to brain tumor research projects. We’re very proud of the impact this funding has made in advancing the neuro-oncology field closer to better treatments and ultimately a cure. And while NBTS is currently focused on driving our flagship research projects – like the Defeat GBM Research Collaborative – forward, there also continues to be great scientific research efforts happening in the neuro-oncology field, en masse. – NTBS

It occurs to me, with the Charleston Brain Tumor Walk approaching, I never posted any shots from the Charlotte Brain Tumor Race, though I mentioned it here and there, and it’s on The Making Lemonade Road Tour Calendar.

We always have a great time shooting the Brain Tumor Walks and Races for the National Brain Tumor Society, and I always get great shots. They take good care of us over the weekend, and I have to give a great big shout out to Katie-Rose, the Director of Development for the Southeast, and my point of contact. Katie-Rose has become a good friend over the years, beyond our professional relationship. The NBTS is fortunate to have her in their corner.

The money raised by these events goes to fund research into the causes and a cure for brain tumors, and I’m terribly proud to be a part of that effort. If you can spare a few dollars to help fight this terrible, deadly disease, you can find the donate page here. Your contributions help to save lives.
