A couple of days ago, I posted a shot of the most Meghan photo I’ve taken to date, and if you were paying attention, you might have noted that Meghan’s paint job was done by Heather.

Heather is someone that first encountered the Rose Marie shortly before Meghan and I left, so I only got to know her a little bit. But watching her paint, I saw some wonderful passion and inspiring creativity. Her work must be seen to be believed, and talking with her about all the little bits she puts into her pieces is a great joy. She’ll be live-painting at Gillis Village on the weekends, so if you’re in the southwest Louisiana area, do yourself the kindness of going to see her.
