Sometimes the #52WeekChallenge is challenging just because I get a little stuck and can’t quite find the thing that I want to do. There’s a whole list of themes, and I can pick them in whatever order, so you’d think it’d be easy to find something each week, right?

Seattle, 2020

Well, not so much. Sometimes, I’m just stuck.

That was the case this week, and combined with a bunch of other stuff I’ve had going on, I’m pretty late in the day getting this up. On the upside, it’s up.

Gretchen and I walked up to the local market this afternoon to pick up a few things we needed, and along the way these holiday decorations jumped out at me from a tree in a neighborhood yard. Since one of the themes on the list is “Red”, it was perfect. I feel like I was rescued just in the nick of time.

Interestingly, another theme on the list is “Selfie”, so I suppose I could have used that one, but I think I’ll save that for another week.

In any event, have a lovely week, and keep an eye out right here. I’ve got a few things to post this week that aren’t from the challenge, including something sexy, and something… let’s say, “improved”.

This post is a part of another round of the 52-week challenge photography project. I’ll post the pieces on Tuesdays, and this is the shot for this week. Click the camera icon above to see the other pieces for this project, or just click here.
