If you’ve been following along with the list I posted back in week one, you know that this week’s shot for the 2021 installment of the 52 Week Challenge is “Levitation”. I thought about lots of different ways to go about this. My best idea was to have some sort of rig around my body with a rod extending out and something attached to the end and using the camera angle to hide the rod….
That was too much work. Instead of that, I just learned how to levitate.
In the end, that turned out to be the simpler path. It’s not really hard once you get the hang of it. Took me about a day to master it well enough for this piece.
I know my readership tends toward the skeptical end of the spectrum, so I’m glad I took this photo as proof. And it’s on the Internets, so it has to be true, right?
This post is a part of the 52-week challenge photography project for 2021. Click here for all the pieces in this project, or click the camera icon above to see all the pieces from all my 52-week challenges.
I published the list I’m using for 2021, in order, in the first post, if you’d like to follow along or join me.
