I was walking along the Fremont Canal, AKA the Lake Washington Shipping Canal, AKA The Cut, with an eye out for fun signs with laws or regulations on them. I didn’t find exactly what I was looking for, but something about the symmetry and lack thereof in this frame caught my eye.

Fremont, Seattle, 2021

It was just a random moment in Fremont, and I can’t really put my finger on what it is I like about the view, and frankly, I’m trying to catch up my projects among many other things that have fallen behind, so I don’t have a lot of bandwidth to spare on the topic. Enjoy it at face value, I suppose.

This post is a part of another round of the 52-week challenge photography project. I’ll post the pieces on Tuesdays, and this is the shot for this week. Click the camera icon above to see the other pieces for this project, or just click here.
